Welcome!

Childhood experiences fueled my passion to pursue a career in psychology. My hope is that in being a psychologist I will effect change through joining others in their journeys. In addition to my love for the field, I am passionate about family, culture, and art. I enjoy water sports like swimming, surfing, standup paddle boarding, and fishing. I make haku leis as a side hobby, which is a huge part of my self-care.

I am a Hawaii native who relocated to Alaska in 2017 as my husband was raised here and his family still resides. We have a son and four dogs. Although I frequent Hawaii often to visit family, it has been quite an adventure making Alaska home.

I earned a dual Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Communications with a minor in Education and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University. I earned a Doctorate of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. I completed my doctoral internship at the Alaska VA. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Alaska.
